Mrs O. Widow of Leading Railman. Her husband died and Insurance policies raised £1480 but left a funeral bill shortfall of £1680. A grant of £1500 was given to clear the bulk of the shortfall.

We give financial assistance, practical help and wide-ranging advice, all in the strictest confidence.

RBF gives grants for a huge range of needs, which include mobility aids, help with the funeral costs or emergency payments in times of financial distress or domestic crisis or disaster. We offer grants to help with educational costs of dependent children. All applications are sympathetically assessed to ensure that the grant meets their needs.
