Taking on a fitness challenge is great for both your physical and mental health, and is a fantastic way to kickstart a new healthy lifestyle. It’s also an easy way to show your support for the Railway Benefit Fund through fundraising.

Ideas for your challenge

There’re no limits to the kind of fitness challenge you can take on for RBF, but below are some ideas to get you started:


  • Walk 10,000 steps every day for a month
  • Complete a couch to 5k or 10k program
  • Sign up for a local running, cycling or swimming race
  • Organise a sports tournament with friends or colleagues
  • Host a Zumba-thon in your community
