Calling all camera cavaliers, selfie snappers, platform praisers and train buffs - RBF needs you!

We’re so excited to bring you our photography competition for 2019 - for our 2020 calendar!

‘Steam and Speed’ is our theme – use your interpretation and creative flare!

 Now in its fourth year - and going to be bigger (and more competitive!) than before! We want to see an array of photographs inspired by the the rail industry - past, present and future! We would love everyone to join in and get involved. We will choose 12 winners for each month - as well as a front cover winner! Winners will receive their own free copy of the calendar too!

The important bits n’ pieces:
 
Photo’s Must be taken by the entrant
Professional photographers are not permitted to enter
Entrant must own the rights to the image
Entrants must be happy for the RBF to utilise images in publicity material
Minor editing will be accepted as long as the main focus and context of the image is preserved
Black and white, colour and Sepia images will be accepted
The competition asks photographers to put their own safety and welfare first and to safeguard their environment and that they do not do anything to injure or distress animals or destroy the environment in their attempt to get their photographs. If the organiser or the judges suspect that a picture was taken using cruel or unethical practices, the entry will be disqualified.
Judges appointed by the Organiser will choose the winners. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the competition’s judging and organisation.
Please check you have correct permissions before getting your David Bailey hat on!
Only rule on content is there must be a link to rail.
