RIA announces RBF as its chosen charity

We are delighted that the Railway Industry Association (RIA) supported RBF as its chosen charity for 2020.

RIA supported the charity through their major events, including the prestigious Gala Dinner in February and the Annual Conference in November, as well as other events and activities throughout the year.

Charity President, Pete Waterman, was Master of Ceremonies at the Annual Gala Dinner in London where the charity raffle raised over £3,500. Unfortunately, we were back in lockdown for the Annual Conference, so Pete and our CEO, Claire Houghton, presented the RISE Awards virtually.

“We are delighted to have the Railway Benefit Fund as our chosen charity this year. They are a fantastic organisation that support railway people and their families during difficult times, providing assistance to those that need it most. We hope that RIA members, and all those that join us at a RIA event over 2020, will help us in supporting this important cause.”

Darren Caplan, Chief Executive, The Railway Industry Association

We are excited to work with RIA and highlight the work we do to their members. RIA are great supporters of RBF and we are delighted to have have been represented at a number of their events over the years.
