Welcome
The Railway Benefit Fund is a charity funded by railway people. With a history stretching back to 1858, the charity,
like railways, has moved with the times. Today it reflects the needs and concerns of those working in this rapidly changing industry, offering
wide-ranging assistance to active and retired railway people and their dependents.

Can we help you ?
Since 1858 we've been the Charity funded by railway people for railway people in distress. Today, the Railway Benefit Fund helps thousands of
railway people - active and retired - to cope with problems of all kinds. We give financial assistance, practical help and wide-ranging advice,
all in the strictest confidence.
If you're facing a crisis, remember... help is only a phone call away.
Can you help us ?
The RBF relies on the support of people like you to help colleagues and their families in need and distress. You can 'do your bit' through payroll
giving, a one-off or regular donation, remembering us in your will, by becoming an RBF representative, a volunteer, a fundraiser or a friend...
How We Can Help
At Railway Benefit Fund we give grants to various people who have or are working on the railway. Last year we gave over 500,000 in grants.

The fund can provide cash grants to those facing financial difficulties due to sickness,
family breakdown and other problems. It can offer ongoing support grants to help children at all stages in their education.
