Individual Giving Officer

Are you the Individual Giving Officer we are looking for to join our growing fundraising team?

Here at Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) we have a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly team and make a real difference to the lives of key workers in rail. The rail industry is exciting and fast paced so you must be up for the journey and keen to learn all it has to offer.

The Individual Giving Officer is a new role; with a key focus on developing income from payroll, planned and regular giving. You will develop and implement donor support processes to ensure excellence in stewardship and donor relationships.

We are looking for a confident and motivated individual ready for a new challenge. Ideally you will have 1-2 years’ experience within the third sector, possibly in administration or fundraising, with some knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of the donor journey, as well as experience of CRM systems and reporting. In addition, you will have the ability to plan and organise your own workload, possess excellent communication skills and demonstrative initiative.

We are a national charity with a head office in Crewe and the successful candidate will work from the office for a minimum of 1 day a week. Remote working applications from candidates based in other areas across the country will also be considered.

To apply, please submit your detailed CV and personal statement outlining why you fulfil the criteria for this role to Claire Houghton, CEO at Railway Benefit Fund choughton@railwaybenefitfund.org.uk as soon as possible.
