Railway Benefit Fund Raise £2,200 at The Railway Innovation Awards
Innovation took centre stage at the prestigious Modern Railways Railway Innovation Awards, held on Friday June 21st. The event, in partnership with the Railway Industry Association and sponsored by Resonate, Porterbrook, and Mistral Data, celebrated the latest and greatest ideas in the rail industry.
Railway Benefit Fund (RBF), the dedicated charity for the UK rail industry, was among those present, having been kindly invited to the occasion. Beyond celebrating the industry’s ingenuity, the day also served as a valuable fundraising opportunity, with attendees generously contributing £2,200 to support railway people and their families facing challenging times.
Suzy Powell, Head of Fundraising, said, “We extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported us at the Railway Innovation Awards. It was a fantastic day celebrating the pioneering spirit of the rail industry, and the lunch was indeed a highlight! The £2,200 raised will go directly towards helping railway people and their families facing difficult times across the UK.”
The awards highlight the ongoing commitment to progress and excellence within the railway, while the success of RBF’s fundraising efforts underscores the industry’s strong sense of community and mutual support.
