Team Amaro conquered the West Highland Way for RBF
Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) are incredibly grateful to Team Amaro for their amazing effort in completing a gruelling 97-mile walking challenge which has resulted in an incredible fundraising total exceeding £3,000 for railway families across the UK facing hardship.
The dedicated Amaro team of four, John Waugh, Chris Munday, Adam Lomax, and Dan Douglas demonstrated extraordinary commitment over five days, conquering 97 miles and racking up an astounding 194,000 steps. Their dedication will provide vital support to their colleagues within the railway community and their families during challenging times.
Starting at Milngavie just a few miles North of Glasgow, they hiked an incredible 194,000 steps and 97 miles of seriously challenging terrain, averaging 9.4 hours and 19.4 miles of continuous walking, every single day.
Congratulations on conquering this challenge, and RBF looks forward to next year’s choice of fundraiser!
