Railway Study Network Event Raises Over £2,400 for RBF
The railway community demonstrated its solidarity last night, as the annual Railway Study Network dinner at The Kia Oval successfully raised over £2,400 to support railway people and their families facing challenging times.
The charity event, hosted by the Railway Study Network, brought together industry leaders and emerging talent for a night of crucial networking and inspiring discussion.
The prestigious dinner featured Mary Grant, CEO of Porterbrook and Chair of NSAR, as the keynote speaker. Her address underscored the importance of skills and investment in securing the future of the rail sector.
The packed room, described as buzzing with conversation and connection, contributed generously to a charity raffle for Railway Benefit Fund which raised over £2,400. The prizes were kindly donated by Porterbrook, London Northeastern Railway (LNER), and the Science Museum Group.
RBF thanked the Railway Study Network for choosing them as the charity for this event.
