Railway Lottery
As a charity that depends entirely on the generosity of the railway community, Railway Benefit Fund has launched a Railway Lottery to provide an additional way for people to contribute to supporting fellow railway workers and their families during hardship, whether due to financial struggles, injury, or illness.
50p from every £1 played comes directly back to Railway Benefit Fund, enabling the charity to continue providing practical help and support to those in the railway family who need it.
- £10.00 helps train volunteers to provide befriending support and a friendly ear
- £50.00 funds emergency food for a family for a weekend, ensuring no one in the community goes hungry during a crisis
Tickets start from £1 per week, with draws taking place weekly. It’s a small way to make a real difference.
How it works:
For every £1 you play each week, you’ll receive a unique 6-digit lottery number.
Every Friday, a winning number is drawn at random. Match your digits to win up to £25,000!
The lottery is a number match game. A random 6-digit winning number sequence is generated each week. If your digits are in the same positions as the digits in the winning number sequence, you win a prize! There are a number of other great prizes to win, too.
- 6 digit match = £25,000
- 5 digit match = £1,000
- 4 digit match = £25
- 3 digit match = 5 entries into the next draw
Winners will be notified by post or e-mail within two weeks of the date of the Draw.
Because it is a number match game, the odds are fixed and every lottery number has an equal chance of winning a prize.
Please note that some organisations, such as Network Rail, may restrict access to the lottery on work-issued devices. If you encounter issues, please use your personal device to play.
You must be 18 years or older to play. Find more information on the Gambling Commission website. Remember to be Gamble Aware.
