National Rail Awards Raises Over £13,500 for Railway 200 Charity Partnership

The rail industry’s enthusiastic support for the Railway200 bicentennial celebration was powerfully highlighted on the September 17 at the prestigious National Rail Awards, known as the ‘The Railway Oscars’.

Organised by the Bauer Media Group, publishers of RAIL magazine, the event served as a high-profile platform to showcase the nationwide momentum behind the 200th anniversary of the modern railway.

Crucially, the evening leveraged the industry’s collective enthusiasm to drive significant charitable giving, raising more than £13,500 for Railway 200’s charity partners, Alzhemier’s Research UK, Railway Children, Railway Benefit Fund, Railway Mission and TBF

The awards reinforce the industry’s ongoing commitment, noting the strong support demonstrating the appreciation for rail’s heritage while securing its future.
