Over £66,000 Raised: RBF and Railpen Celebrate One Year of Charity Partnership
Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) is celebrating a milestone one-year anniversary of its partnership with Railpen, having successfully raised over £66,000 to support the UK rail community.
This partnership with Railpen has bridged the gap between long-term financial security and immediate wellbeing needs for those facing hardship.
The first year was marked by active participation, from the Railpen team taking on the Million Step Team Challenge to sponsoring the Lifetime Achievement Award at RBF’s annual Heart of Gold Awards. These initiatives have ensured that support remains visible and accessible across the sector.
Jo Kaye, CEO of RBF, commented:
“We are a people-first industry, and this partnership is built on a shared heritage. Railpen’s support ensures that no one in our Railway Family has to face hardship alone. We’re proud to have a partner that stands with us in protecting those who keep our nation moving.”
Jonathan Clark, Director at Railpen, added:
“Our relationship with RBF is a powerful expression of Railpen’s purpose. While we work to secure our members’ futures, we are equally committed to supporting the wider needs of the people who keep us connected.”
As the partnership enters its second year, both organisations remain dedicated to protecting the “heart” of the industry, its people. The ongoing momentum ensures RBF can stay agile and responsive to the evolving needs of the UK rail workforce.
