Railway Benefit Fund Joins Health Shield Staff Summer Social

Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) was delighted to be invited along to Health Shield’s Staff Summer Social, where the team had the chance to talk to staff about RBF’s work supporting the Railway Family and the volunteering opportunities on offer.

RBF joined Health Shield’s team for the careers-style event, held alongside three other charity partners, giving staff the chance to explore a range of ways to get involved in their community.

The day also included some great team-building activities for Health Shield staff, including a scavenger hunt, making for a fun and well-organised event all round.

A big thank you goes to Jacqui Carr, CEO of Health Shield, for her continued support of the Railway Family. RBF is also hugely grateful for Health Shield’s generous donation of £1,250, which will make a real difference to railway people and their families going through challenging times.

Supporting the Railway Family is clearly on Health Shield’s agenda, and RBF is thankful for that ongoing commitment. Thanks again to everyone at Health Shield for having RBF along, the team looks forward to working together again soon
