RBF and Railpen Announce New Charity Partnership

For over 165 years, the Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) has provided support to railway workers and their families across the UK. The charity has stood by train drivers, support staff, and countless others through life’s most challenging moments, including illness, injury, and financial hardship. The RBF is now thrilled to announce its charity partnership with Railpen.

This partnership is more than just a milestone; it’s a promise to strengthen the support provided to the people who are the heart of Britain’s railways. The RBF’s mission has always been to make a tangible difference, whether it’s through offering financial aid during a crisis or celebrating the unsung heroes of the rail industry with its Heart of Gold Awards. The RBF is driven by the belief that no railway worker should face hardship alone. Railpen, which has been managing pensions for rail workers since 1965, shares this commitment.

As we mark Railway 200, a celebration of two hundred years of rail, we’re taking our partnership to new heights. Railpen has long been a supporter of our initiatives, and now we will be working together to support to reach even more railway people,  who need a helping hand.
