The event highlighted the successful integration of EDI principles into GTR’s core operations.

Key Insights from the Celebration:

The celebration showcased the meaningful impact REN has had over the past half-decade. The RBF, whose mission supports the wellbeing of the entire railway family, noted several key takeaways:

  • The anniversary demonstrated GTR’s commitment to making EDI fundamental to its organisational culture, driving genuine and lasting change
  • The network has successfully fostered more safe and inclusive working environments, with a focus on career pathways
  • Attendees were reminded of the importance of authenticity, encouraging employees to share their true stories and experiences without feeling the need to “wear a mask.”
