RBF Volunteers having Christmas fun

On 6th December, a team of fantastic volunteers joined RBF at the annual Rail Freight Group Christmas Lunch. The team consisted of Justin from Network Rail, Tarnia, a Rail Community Officer at South Western Railway, and Colette, a former railway worker. Over the course of the afternoon, the volunteers donned RBF t shirts and festive hats, selling raffle tickets for the champagne draw and collecting cash and card donations. Thanks to their support, the total raised during the event was an incredible £6,700. Volunteer Tarnia said:

“I had a fabulous few hours and doing volunteering is something that warms everyone’s heart, people just don’t realise until they experience it!“
